Homemade SPA treatment – 3 easy DIY

Wouldn’t you love a daily homemade spa experience? Soothing music, candles – pure relax, just for yourself. The truth is there is a lot of good that comes from some spa experiences. It’s a lovely way to “thank” your body. But of course, going to the spa on a regular basis is not only expensive, but you never know if the products used are really safe for your body. Let´s prepare our own homemade SPA.

HOMEMADE SPA – BUBBLE BATH

Soothing music, candles – pure relax, just for yourself.

Who doesn´t love taking bubble baths? The more bubbles the better – everyone knows that. Here it is super easy recipe uses a shampoo base. Try lavender for a relaxing bath (great for bedtime baths for kids, too!) or eucalyptus for a soothing bath when you are sick.

How to do it, in a few steps:

Gather your ingredients – unscented shampoo, 1/2 cup water, salt, & essential oils. Measure 1/3 cup shampoo into large measuring cup or bowl; add water & mix well. Add 1 teaspoon salt and mix well until mixture thickens; add 15 drops of essential oil. Pour into 8oz jar or bottle and use 2 tablespoons per bath.
…and the bath is ready!

HOMEMADE SPA – COFFEE SCRUB

If you’re a coffee-lover, the idea of using precious coffee beans in a body scrub might shock you, but give this DIY product a shot, during your homemade SPA treatment it’s gonna be unforgettable!  

How to do it, in a few steps:

Gather your ingredients –  1/2 cup fresh ground coffee (Fresh are best, but dry used grounds will work, too), 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup melted coconut oil, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.  Mix together fresh ground coffee and brown sugar. Add coconut oil into the coffee mixture and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined. Gently rub the mixture over your body, avoid areas around the eyes. Leave it on for several minutes. Rinse thoroughly.

 ALOE VERA FACE MASK 

Time to final touch! It’s really simple to make an effective aloe vera face mask with natural ingredients from your kitchen. Aloe vera gel can be used as a mask by itself; you can even use a thin layer of aloe gel as a leave-on, overnight mask. A DIY face mask made with aloe vera, coffee grounds and sugar may serve to brighten the skin by gently exfoliating dead skin cells from the surface of your face. 

How to do it, in a few steps:

Gather your ingredients –  2 tablespoons aloe vera gel, 1 teaspoon coffee grounds and 1 teaspoon raw granulated sugar. In a small bowl, combine all ingredients. Gently apply the mask to your face. Wait for 10-15 minutes. Wash off with warm water and voila! 

Just thank your body, great job!
