1) Nepal Top Environmental facts
The highest mountain in the world, the Mount Everest, is in Nepal. The country boasts extreme places such as the highest lake on earth (Tilicho 4800 metres), the highest valley on earth (Arun Valley).
Nepal is a four season destination. For each season, Nepal has different attractions to offer.
2) About Nepalese people
Nepal is the birthplace of Buddha, the father of Buddhism, which is the second largest religion in the country. Its people are known as Nepali or Nepalese and the majority of them are Hindus. The unique cultural and ethnic makeup of the country is the reason of the vast array of spoken languages (approx. 92). No wonder if Nepal is home to over 101 ethnicities!

4) Nepalese love to eat
Sel Roti – Sometimes called Nepal’s answer to the donut (because they’re deep-fried and round)
Gundruk – Is made fermenting leafy green vegetables. Slightly mushroomy and quite salty
Yomari – This food has its own festival “the Yomari Festival. They are made form rice flour and stuffed either with a sweet molasses mixture or a coconut one.
Chiura – It’s a type of rice that has been beaten flat and dried so it lasts longer.
5) A bit of language!
In Nepali health, it says “स्वास्थ्य”, vegan it says “शाकाहारी” and sustainability it says “स्थिरता”.
